Miguel Ampuero

Miguel Ampuero, Ph.D., BCBA received his Ph.D. degree in Special Education from the University of Pittsburgh, where he currently teaches graduate courses in behavior analysis and special education. His research focuses issues related to paraeducator/staff training as well as the design of language training interventions for students with autism and/or other intellectual disabilities based on Skinner's analysis of verbal behavior. In addition, Ampuero is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst who has more than 15 years of field experience working with individuals with autism and/or other intellectual disabilities. Ampuero also currently serves as an Educational Consultant for the PaTTAN Autism Initiative ABA Supports, providing consultation, training, and techanical assistance to classroom teams supporting students with ASD in the western PA region.
