Lori has worked as an educational consultant at PaTTAN for 20 years. She is a board certified behavior analyst since 2004. She started in the field as an elementary teacher. When she taught in the classroom, she wanted to learn how to help the students in her classroom that needed extra help. This started her on the journey which initially directed her back to school. The discovery of applied behavior analysis (ABA) occurred in 2000, as a behavior specialist for a BHRS wraparound agency. Passion and love of ABA as well as working with children that have special needs opened the doors for the opportunity to be a consultant for the Autism Initiative. She as recently obtained her PhD in applied behavior analysis and has started working as an adjunct professor at her alma mater, The Chicago school of professional psychology in Washington DC.
